Bobby Rocha

My name is Bobby Rocha. I'm a certified trainer, competitive powerlifter and an online fitness coach. My job is to get you in the best shape of your life with a no nonscene, evidence-based approach.​

After years of spinning my wheels working out hard and “eating clean", I was met with very lackluster results. Though I love fitness, this was extremely frustrating for me as I was putting in so much work, but had little to show for it.


I finally decided to educate myself and follow an evidence-based approach to fitness, this meant using actual scientific research to build a fitness program for myself. After sifting through all the information that was available, I quickly found out I was doing many things wrong and had to completely change my approach.

Once I started to follow an evidence-based approach to training and nutrition it almost felt like I was cheating.


I thought to myself, “How could I be getting such great results by doing less?”


That’s when I came to the realization that training and nutrition are not just about working hard, it’s about working smart.

Many people try to claim that they know the “secret” to training and nutrition, but the truth is there is no secret, there are just rules and once you learn the rules and how to play within them, that’s when you get results. Many times this “secret” that many people try to push is just a marketing scheme to try and sell you something that doesn’t work.


I want to show you that things aren’t as complicated as it seems and getting the body of your dreams while still living a balanced life is possible!


This is what inspired me to create Empowered Athletics. No more marketing BS, and super restrictive diets with sweat till’ you die workouts. I want to empower you with the knowledge and confidence to finally get the body and health you've always wanted.


I want to let you know now, that I am not about "magic pills" and quick fixes. So if that's what you're looking for, then look somewhere else!
